طالب-ولي أمر: Dear School Principal, I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding the inadequate supervision provided to my seven-year-old daughter, [Student’s Name – Class], during the school trip to Monkey Maze on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. The school informed parents that the children could bring money with them. Accordingly, I gave my daughter some money and specifically instructed her to ask her teacher to accompany her whenever she wanted to buy something, as she is still young and may need assistance checking prices and ensuring that she receives the correct change. However, when my daughter asked her teacher to accompany her, the teacher reportedly refused and told her to go by herself. Consequently, my daughter did not receive the correct change for her purchases. She explained that the vendor repeatedly told her that he still owed her money and asked her to return later. Each time she went back, he gave her the same response, and the trip ended without her receiving the remaining amount. My daughter attends UCMAS classes and has a good basic understanding of the value of money. She asked about the prices and knew approximately how much change she should receive. Nevertheless, when she requested the remaining amount, the vendor told her that he did not have it. I would like to emphasise that my concern is not about the value of the money or seeking reimbursement. My main concern is the school’s responsibility to supervise and care for the children. These children are only seven years old, and if they are permitted to bring and spend money during a school trip, a sufficient number of supervisors should be available to assist them and ensure that they are not taken advantage of or placed in situations they cannot handle by themselves. Asking a child of this age to manage such a situation alone, particularly after she specifically requested assistance from the adult responsible for her, is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of care and supervision expected from the school. I would therefore appreciate the following: 1. A formal investigation into what happened. 2. Clarification as to why my daughter’s request for assistance was refused. 3. Clarification regarding the supervision arrangements in place during the trip. 4. Confirmation that clear procedures will be implemented during future trips whenever children are permitted to carry and spend money, ensuring that they receive adequate assistance and supervision. We entrust the school with the safety and well-being of our children. I am not requesting financial compensation; I am asking for assurance that children will receive the necessary attention, support, and supervision throughout all school-organised activities and trips, so that this situation is not repeated with my daughter or any other child. I look forward to receiving your response and clarification regarding this matter. Kind regard [Parent’s Name] Mother of [ohood albasher] Class: [1-A] Contact Number: [01000385542]
